Yeah this first version of the rebuild is just a demo, I think it was to have people test the new interface and features etc.

Call it "milking" or whatever but I don't really agree, I like the changes.

One thing I want from this version (eventually) is some new and exciting ways to get rid of that creep Eric.
Preferably ways that don't involve Max doing something even worse than what Eric was doing.

It's amazing that renders in original big brother still holds up. I haven't played it since it was abandoned. this makes me wanna replay it. Should i play this or the original big brother ? which one has the most content and better story ?

BBAS : Added more/Better picking scenes, far less content with Lisa and her friends , good hot progress with Kira, and she's the only one that got fucked by MC.

I haven't played this game at all, nor have I kept up with it, but I would like to understand its current & foreseeable situation.

I read a bit through the thread and here's what I got:

1. Initially Aleksey90 created BB:AS as a story-wise strong clone of the original but promised a future where significant changes will show up as the game evolves.
2. Between 2020-2022 BB:AS received significant updates and it started getting completely new/changed renders/images & events, not found in the original.
3. Sometime towards the end of 2022 Aleksey90 decided to rebuild/remake BB:AS by improving both its engine and existing renders/images.

Assuming I got the above right, my question is:

4. Redoing 2+ years of renders while also improving the engine seems very non-trivial so just catching up with where BB:AS was should take... one year? Is this right?

Please add the option for the player to rename the m.c in the beginning of the game . Forcing the player to use default name ruins the emersion for some .

Also added a new scene already into the tech demo. We don't know how much he wants to change about what we know from previous versions.

If you are not able to use this key combination, then you need to enable "Console"

The Big Brother curse. All these games based on the same unfinished abandoned game, always being reworked or abandoned. Not one has been finished yet.
I played this one a while ago and it was good and this guy just completely rebuilt the game from scratch. Should have called it Glamour: Another Story to complete the meme. I wonder what will happen first, a single Big Brother game getting finished or the Summertime Saga pre-tech update reaching 81% complete.

Of course. My impression was that Aleksey90 wants to redo/upgrade the 3D modelling behind all? images used in existing scenes, which is a LOT more time-consuming than just re-rendering existing 3D models at higher technical quality.

The new version is like 5 minutes long. It's being made from scratch again. There would be no point to any kind of a patch.

Here my two cents: The game was reaching the point where you fuck the Mom/sis/Eric. But you can't have that! Oh no!
So the most sensible thing to do, if you're the dev, is to start from scratch again.
So enjoy, until the game reach the point you fuck Mom/sis/the dog... Then he'll pretext some bullshit reason to start again.
It's ok tho, wouldn't pay anyway. Fuck this lel.
