11:10 correct me if I'm wrong but isn't there a faster strat? If memory serves right you can set michael on fire with a molotov, which allows you to run at normal speed with the heavy armor. You can skip the whole shootout and carry the fight into the last room, right before you hop on the train

my older series, like casual vs speedrun, had 100s of strats and was basically impossible to credit people on, most of the information was just lost to time, 2013-2014 especially. but these new vids are doing up-to-date strats so i can make a proper effort to credit people in-the-moment.

The running strat can be used in Repossession to get closer to the fence or to run through the alley on right and have the biker spawn in a different location. Both are quicker, but going right is a little harder because it is a hard turn while running that way
interesting never though of going right. though theres a new strat - just shoot the biker later - that way hes already facing the right way when you blap him.
@@FriendlyBaron It's amazing what you can do with a proper engine. Same with RDR2. I play World of Warcraft a lot more recently, and people tell me how good the graphics of the current update are, and it's just the style of WoW.... And then I look at other games,... and what they can do...
yeah its two separate things really, improving the run's strats but also improving your own play. i could hammer another 2 minutes off the run just by perfecting the driving, and no other changes if i really worked at it
@@FriendlyBaron I would say perfect driving later, or at least somewhat later. I think some of your biggest saves could come from the sections where you get pushed from the cars trying to get in front of you. Granted I don't really know how much time this would actually save you on your runs.

yeah. its not actually faster as you have to spend time picking up the mollys. we kind of have a chance to get them now, but shooting as franklin is still faster when done well, and the molotov thing isnt consistent.

Reloe's always been great at high level strats, and Dew's been killing it with tiny but useful optimizations.
