This is by far THE BEST Cissy Strut backing track here on RUclips ( or anywhere) the others are off on the beat and kind of weak. The Back beat on this is so ON you wouldn't have to have anything else in the track to jam over. A+, Frosty Chocolate Milkshakes all around😄
Nice track. I was fortunate enough to see the Meters many times in the early 70s in New Orleans. They brought the funk for sure
Man it was a blast. Always changing between C major and C minor and also their parallel tonalities, also trying to go up on circle of fifths in G major and E minor (this one didn't work so well, still was fun) also some doubling of the note an octave higher up. So much chromatisism, but it sounded (kinda whole). Also some arpeggios of the scale chords in different inversions, and parallel fourths. Long time ago I had such a blast while improvising I guess I just missed guitar.
Great track gave up guitar for a little bit but now the passion is back!
