Still... a spy cam does not have a LED at all.
And nowadays spycams are sold on Amazon or Wish for 30 dollars or so. No need to be a CIA agent. Why would anyone use a regular cam to hide it?

Besides, IIRC, photos of two DIKs banging Arieth in that room when it was a janitor closed leaked. Taken from above.
Since nobody else were in that room - particularly not a 3-meter tall guy - the first thougt should have been: "let's search the ceiling for an hidden cam" and not "I wonder who has taken us a picture"...

but the big question is, who would ever put a spy room in a storeroom? or even if it happened later in Derek's room?

Is finding out who's having sex (or rather who isn't) with Arieth worth the effort?

the worst possible place, and since Derek and Mc checked the other rooms, we have to assume there's only one.

Are we sure it's a "spycam" and not a security cam? The quality of the pics are pretty good, and it's wired. But again, I know nothing about cameras.

Technically we didn't check every room, only the empty ones. Like we didn't check Rusty or Tommy's rooms, for example.

Maybe back then the janitor room was known as the "clandestine sex room" so anyone wanting to blackmail (or expose) the DIKs or their "secret girls" could have thougt of planting a cam there.

But after the photo of two DIKs banging Arieth went public, and no one else was in that 2-by-3 meter room with no fucking windows... How realistic is that the first thought of the three was "I wonder who took that pic of us" and not "Let's go searching the room for the fucking hidden cam"? :HideThePain:

It was hidden inside the ceiling light, IIRC. Either the ceiling light has a frosted glass - so the cam can't "see" anything, or it has a clear glass - so Derek would have noticed a so big device even without LED.

I mean are we again talking of proportions in a VN with fixed assets?

I honestly don't see it as that weird a lot of lights in smaller rooms are opaque, sure the quality of the videos wouldn't come out that clear if that was the case, but I think maye we are reading too much into all this?

A camera was installed and wasn't spotted until the whole energy went out and reset, leading to the blinking led.

Imo,

Nick - Mid to low chance. He's got a good heart and he's always nice to us so him being a betrayer would be a bit shocking. But the whole Heather dilemma means he's got some chains on him which someone could use to control him.

Tommy - An asshole born and raised, an utterly irresponsible dick ( fitting he's the main OG Dik). But still he values the diks as family and knows when he's gone too far. Rusty - Nice lad and a good friend. But his insecurities get the best of him a lot of times. He needs someone to sit him down and talk to him because he's a ticking time bomb. His likelihood of betraying is slim though.

John boy - Just a chill guy (*insert meme here*). He's probably the guy with the least worries in the group. He just wants to spread love ( and his girlfriend ) with the world (which could create a rift if he becomes insecure ). Chances of him being a betrayer are low.

Leon - Leon's a cool dik. But he's constantly afraid of losing his best friend. He worries about him so much that it sometimes feels obsessive. He has the best intentions in his heart but the way he's pushing it is wrong. Can his fear be exploited by someone to control him to do their bidding? I'd give it a slim chance.

Jaimie - Jaimie has no idea what he wants. He's like leon. In the sense he's afraid of not finding love if he lets go of his ex. His ex wants to mold him into her ideal man giving no thoughts into how he feels about it. He needs to realize that a relationship is a two way street and both need to change themselves or accept each other for what they are because nothing good can come from their current relationship. In terms of betrayal, he's got nothing to gain from betraying the diks. So I'd give him a low chance.

Jacob - Jacob's a good guy who hasn't found that missing piece to his puzzle yet. His character isn't that explored apart from being an artist and being the moral compass of the group apart from the mc. He needs some good development in the coming episodes. Him being the betrayer is very low.

Ok, I take it for the proportions and the fixed assets (also DPC could have spent more time in finding a smallest hidden cam asset - since it's plot relevant, than in enhancing the renderings of irrilevant bacground objects like bottles... like he actually did)

Also a cam through an opaque glass can't see anything. Not even foggy.

But let's say that there is a kind of cam that could have been planted there and not been noticed until the blackout.
